Our story
2015
Kate Creative opens as a mobile pottery painting studio running the business from the conservatory and using the company van to get to visit fairs and events.
The beginning
2017
Having established the company and needing to reclaim the conservatory we opened our first studio space just outside Lingfield.
This allowed us to expand the business and start offering parties and tables at a fixed venue.
First studio
2018
After only a year we had once again outgrown our studio space and moved to a larger studio halfway between Copthorne and Lingfield.
The converted barn gave us further room to grow and the ability to offer more events including larger parties and workshops.

2020
With the world impacted by lockdowns and the studio closed for most of the year, we started our takeaway service, helping people pass the time until we reopened the studio.

2022
Our first high street studio! After 5 years we finally took the plunge and moved into our high street location in the heart of Lingfield village.
The new studio has allowed us to increase capacity once again which means that we are open six days a week to the public.

Over the Years
We have extended our services to include Bear Building, Foam Clay, Clay Workshops, and Glitter Painting all of which can be offered in the studio or as a mobile service.
We offer private parties, ideal for birthdays and hen parties as well as special events for charity groups and care homes. To ensure we never forget how we started, we continue to run the mobile studio at fairs and special events across the Surrey, Sussex & Kent.
All our staff and party hosts have the same passion for having fun. They can deal with different skill levels and artistic abilities to ensure that everyone has a piece that they can be proud of. We pride ourselves that all our gifts are hand painted and unique to you and understand that most people just want to enjoy being creative and the focus is always on having fun!
